University of Utah v. Board of Examiners of State, P.2d , 4 Utah 2d – menfashionstyle.info
The Leadership Development Programs are open to Associate Deans, Assistant Deans, Department Chairs, tenure and career-line faculty as well as directors in academic departments who have responsibility for staff supervision, budgetary oversight and project or program management across one or more functional areas. Faculty participants will generally be at the rank of associate or full although other faculty who have a long-term relationship with the University are eligible to participate. Participation in the programs is recognized as professional development and, for faculty, counts as university service for purposes of RPT or merit assessment during that period. There are two programs offered during the academic year, the first in fall semester and the second in spring semester. The focus of this program is to provide participants with opportunities to reflect on their individual leadership style, personal career development and enhance or develop skills in a number of specific areas including negotiation, leadership mindset, difficult conversations, and collaborative relationship building.
